北京时间1月6日，据网友爆料亚洲杯官方宣传册出现多处错误，在介绍中国宣传册时将地图轮廓印为美国的版图。晚间，亚足联官方发布公告，对出版社犯下的错误表示失望。

亚足联已经收到中国足协关于某宣传手册的申诉，该手册不但使用了错误的中国地图，并且还出现了涉及其他球队的错误。

我们已查明这是一份未经组委会或亚足联确认、许可或批准而出版的宣传手册。我们已经联系了出版该手册的独立报社，并对其犯下的错误表示失望。

We have had an official approach from the CFA to complain about a magazine which not only has their map wrong but also has mistakes involving other teams.

The AFC has been made aware of a magazine that has been published without the input, permission or approval of either the LOC or AFC. We have contacted the publishers, who are an independent newspaper, to register our disappointment at the errors this magazine contains.​​​​
